Maja offers a unique, artistic, and comprehensive approach to the practice that encourages her students to view challenges from alternate perspectives, and to live their lives to the fullest potential! This is an active style of yoga with students being led through a dynamic sequence of asanas (poses). You will “flow” from one pose to the next, while connecting your breath with your movement. Continuous movement will help focus your mind, while you are building balance, flexibility and strength, and improving cardiovascular health. Class intentions are incorporated and weaved into the practice through words, music, movements, and through breathwork. Reiki is shared at the end of every class. Truly a transformational experience.

BREATHWORK

This breathing process is executed by breathing only with your mouth deep into your stomach past your diaphragm, up into your chest and out your mouth. This breath allows us to connect to our deeper selves, and allows us to work through deeply tangled and rooted issues that we may not even be consciously aware of in our everyday lives. It moves us out of our fight or flight brain, and into our deep processing brain, relieving us of any unresolved issues stuck in our bodies, and allowing us to live more enlightened lives.

NEW and FULL MOON RITUALS

First we will meditate and release what is no longer serving us, as we move into a vinyasa practice that transitions into a breathwork practice. Reiki energy will be channeled – deepening your overall healing and awakening your inner voice.

You will be gifted your own set of moqui marbles if it’s your first time to keep and bring to the rituals! What are moqui marbles you ask? They are also know as shaman stones and are used for shamanic journeying, soul retrieval, polarity balancing, psychic protection, and for tapping into your intuition. They are extremely powerful and comforting when used with the breathwork practice!!!
